Laura Panzer (1st, 3rd, 5th)
Welcome to the Counselor’s Corner Knights😊 I am so excited to be serving the 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students this year at Simonton Elementary. I obtained a master’s degree in School Counseling from Mercer University and this will be my fourth year as a school counselor. Previously, I was a middle school math teacher for 6 years in Gwinnett County.
I have been married for seven years and have two amazing children, Lacey (4) & Luke (2). My interests outside of work include spending time with my family, traveling, and shopping. Also, I love to read books and watch my favorite shows on Netflix.
I look forward to supporting the students, parents, and the Simonton Staff with anything they need.

Bridgette Willis (K, 2nd, 4th)
Hi! I am Bridgette Willis and I am excited to join Simonton ES as a School Counselor this year! I attended Columbus State University and received a Master's in Education in School Guidance and Counseling. This is my 16th year as a School Counselor in Gwinnett Couty Schools. I have also worked abroad in Abu Dhabi as a School Counselor where I developed a School Guidance and Counseling Program for a private academy.
I have a niece and three nephews. My favorite activity outside of work is spending time with family and friends! Some of my favorite things are traveling, reading, and Disney movies!
I am here to support our students and parents at Simonton ES. I look forward to an awesome school year!
