The mission of Simonton Elementary School Counseling department is to provide a positive and secure learning environment for academic, career and the personal, social success of all students. The guidance and counseling program will support the mastery of academic knowledge, skills, and behaviors that foster student achievement.

Vision:

The vision of Simonton Elementary School Counselors is to support staff, parents, and students by providing counseling services that will help achieve success for each student.

• All students have the right to be served by the school counseling program
• All students' ethnic, cultural, and racial differences and special needs are considered in the planning and implementation of the Simonton counseling program
