Online Registration Process:

Begin Online Registration (OLR) The enrolling parent or guardian starts the Online Registration process.

Complete and Submit OLR Fill out all required information and upload the necessary documents, then submit the application.

Visit Your Local School After submitting OLR, visit your child’s zoned school so staff can verify your information and documents.

School Finalizes Enrollment Once everything is verified, the school will officially enroll your student(s).
Documents needed for Registration
Much of the registration process, including the uploading of documents needed for registration, will be completed online, or an appointment can be scheduled with the school if additional assistance is needed. Most document attachments (PDF, JPG, DOC, PNG, etc.) are compatible. The file size limit is 3 MB.
Families should begin online registration, even if their child's health records are not up to date. They can complete their child's health screening and immunizations with the Health Department or their physician before school starts on August 5, 2026. Certain uploaded documents are required before the Online Registration may be submitted. These include the Birth Verification, Adult ID, and two proof of residency documents.
New Students to GCPS
Complete an online registration for each student. The information is entered on a secure website. Click on 'Registering a student new to GCPS' below in order to begin the registration process. Bring all required documents to Simonton Elementary.
Current GCPS Student
Bring the withdrawal form from the previous Gwinnett County School along with proof of residency to the new school within Gwinnett County.
